Zanussi Fan Over (fitted) ZBS260X not getting hot

Hi

As the title says really. The oven is turned up to 250 deg c and one can put their hand in there. There is warmth but it’s definitely not getting hot. Are we talking element here?

Probably the element.

Are you sure about the model number as I can’t locate that at all anywhere.

Thanks for looking for me. I’ll need to double check. It’s in our rented property. it’s about 3 years old and came from B and Q IIRC

Just an update. All fixed thanks. I removed and carried out an insulation test on the element. Then I managed to find and fit one.

Biggest problem I had was that the 4 screws holding the back panel in had rusted, and so had the holes. That made putting the panel back in the oven afterwards. I just used some thicker screws I found and secured it back.

The model number was correct btw. I also needed a product number to source the element.

Element was £35 – ouch! I had to get it fixed that day though. It’s in a property we let out and I don’t like to keep tenants waiting.
