Our zanussi is, after twelve years showing signs that it needs new bearings. I am a very practical person and have always serviced my own equipment. Is there a set of instructions available on the CORRECT way to disasseble and refit the new bearings ? before I do anything damaging..

Afraid not. Such information may well contravene the consumer protection act.

All I can suggest is ensure the plug is pulled out, take your time & follow your nose.

Everything is done from the rear regards Tub/Drum removal, then you have to spilt the tub assembly and go from there. Make sure you replace the tub seal and ensure the drum spider is clean & unmarked.

Best of luck, a nice Saturday morning job for you. Parts will cost about £60 assuming you need the drum spider.

Thanks very much for the help Alex, I may leave it to the experts. Its a toss up between taking the machine to bits or a day on my narrowboat…..hard decision….not.
