Only spin positions checked so far; machine not connected to water. Output from tacho seems normal. Connections tacho to module good. Triac not shorted. Checked other components on module in-circuit, all seem OK.
Has anyone had this before? Do Zanussi timers sometimes cause this?

Measured output from tacho connections at module when motor turned by hand and found the normal sort of volts registering. I assumed all must be well in there but I suppose it’s worth prising the thing off to look see if the magnet’s loose. It’s an unusual looking motor (AEG, possibly) and the tacho clip looks about as easy as the one on an FHP. 👿
