    I looked at a machine last night where the wire element bracket is missing from where the drum halves split.

    Has anyone seen this and is it likely the drum is damaged from where the bracket has pulled out?

    I’ve not seen it personally but It’ll need splitting to replace the bracket I guess ?

    You can buy it seperately, it’s part number 1246144008

    Is this likely to have damaged the outer tub when it came out?

    If it has, there’s a matching slot in the other half of the tank.
