Zanussi FJ1295 Programme stops on rinse cycle

My machine stops on rinse cycle. It fills with water then just sits there. If I move the programmer on one click, it drains the water and refills as normal then stops again. This happens throughout the rinse cycle. When it reaches the spin it drains and spins as normal.
As the motor brushes have just been replaced, I don’t want to give up on it just yet.
I had the door catch mechanism replaced about 4 years ago, could this be the problem again? I only say this because I did have to put pressure on the door initially to start it, but it has been ok since.

I would suggest to check the sump hose, which is the one that goes from the tub to the filter manifold, is clear. If so, the next thing that I would do is remove the manifold & clear the air chamber which is where the hoses from the pressure switch go to. It can be awkward to clean but it is do-able. If all the above fails to clear the problem then I would think you have a dead spot on the programmer.

Before doing all the above, please ensure that the appliance is isolated from the mains electrical supply by whatever means.

The 240 volt AC shuffle is a horrible dance anyway.
