This washer is not heating. The element is ok but i am not getting any power to it. There are three pressure switches on this m/c, 2 large and one small. The small one which goes to the element seems to work when i tested it. It has three wires on it. One brown from the on/off switch, one white from the timer board and one brown to the heater. I am not getting any power through any of these wires. Is this a problem with the timer?
    Any help please.

    Thanks

As far as I can figure from the crappy wiring diagram is that the power to the heater comes via the smaller (heater safety – pressure switch) which in turn is fed via the on/off switch. And the timer completes the circuit I guess.:?

Other than that I can only send you a copy of the wiring diagram via email to you so you can check it out.

    Check your in-box directly 😀

Had one earlier this year and found pressure hose chaffed thru on small pressure switch so switch not opperating.. as martin said they feed the heater thru that switch so m/c was simulating no water in..

Pitty they don’t do that on the later w/driers.. see plastic tub melted thread 🙂

Had exactly this fault on a 1295 earlier this year, ordered a timer from EMW and appliance started heating within minuites on the quick wash.
