zanussi fjdr 1666w drum paddle fitting

im a newbie here so hello everyone. im hoping someone can give me real definitive way to fit the paddles on a zanussi fjdr 1666w wm. the spares i have come with a screw. is this really needed? does this type use the bendy tags.? no other posts really give definite answers. hope someone can help. thanks in advance colin.

Yes, the screw is required or they will just fall off again.

You need to get to that from the inside of the drum which can often be done through the sump hose hole.
