Complaint of no drain. Machine was full of water on visit, drained perfectly into a bowl so no blockage. Pump has no obstructions and appears physically and electrically sound. Customer did say that they tried it once without a load and it worked but failed with washing in. 😕

Also thinks she saw E20 once.

Switched on, selected drain and pump ran fine and drained out the last few drops of water.

Selected Cottons- Rinse cycle. filled, timer counted down to 41 Mins then stuck.

Switching to spin or drain and pump will not now run.

Unfortunately I didn’t have my lappy with me, it was at home charging up a brand new battery, so I will have to return to run diagnostics, just wonder if anyone has any previous on this fault. Could it be a board triac fault or the pump TOC?

I had exactly the same fault a year or so back – pump ran fine with no load. Ran through a cycle and the pump suddenly had no electrical supply from the PCB. Replaced the board and that sorted it. The problem was a faulty triac, methinks. 😉
Have you swapped the pump for new to eradicate the possibility of a jamming pump?

Didn’t have one with me Steve, this one has a bayonet fixing type. When it did run it was perfectly smooth and quiet. I also left it ten minutes just in case the TOC had tripped.

Went back with laptop, diagnostics revealed last error as code E21.

Went back to drain pump. switched on and pump ran for about 3 minutes that packed up. Changed pump, sorted. 8)
