Zanussi FJDR1666W Stops during wash programme

Hi,
Got me a Zanussi (14 moth old)(cold fill) which is refusing to do xmas
washing!. (Foolish -me did not put it on prezzie list)
The machine does its bit up to and including the fill . It then
stops- sitting full of water and the unwashed clothes.
This happens no-matter what wash programm I try.
Will spin and pump out if programme is manually skipped
forward. The water in machine does not get warm/hot but
all other functions seem to work
Any suggestions to what belated gift i could give the zannusi
to make it a happy and working member of the family again??

Hi there , I will venture my two pennorth as you have no other replies . This is not a machine with which I am familiar , But My first suspect would be the heater . Unless you own suitable test gear and know how to use it , Enlist an engineer through Repairs@ . Remove mains plug from socket before further investigation . Good luck .

Sorted now- dud heating element the cause!
