Zanussi FJR 1454W on 60 Hz.

Can a Zanussi FJR 1454W work on 60 hz? There is an error code E90 after power up, but the lamp test function cycles through ok. Ideally I would like to get hold of the relevant info about error codes and configuration from the service manual. Is there a procedure to set the configuatation of the electronics module to enable 60 hz. operation? Or could it be that the electronics module is faulty and needs replacing?

I have tried the contact page at http://www.zanussi-electrolux.co.uk to ask them, but no reply.

No it will not work on 60hz 🙁

E90 = a configuration error, in your case created by the incorrect mains frequency. Unless you can devise a mains voltage rectifier circuit to 50 hz there is little can be done 😕

E90 indicate a communications error between the fascia PCB and the main PCB. HAd a problem with an appliance on a caravan site which was running from a generator. Unfortunately, the different frequency plays havoc with the timing of the PCB and there is nothing that can be done
