    Do you need to use the screw that comes with new drum paddles? Or do they adequately slide and lock into place?

    Is it a sump hose off job to put screws in if necessary?

    The customers been using the machine for a whole year with no paddles. My call was to secure tacho. Unbelievably they have never had their clothes damaged. 😯

    Hi.

    You are supposed to remove the sump hose from the tub to secure the paddles to the drum. Having said that, I have know people to not use the screw & sometimes it holds just fine.
