OK, I’m sure I’m going to kick myself when one of you points out the obvious answer to this.
I did the bearing job on this today and was pleased with myself for doing a good job (what with both collapsed and shells stuck on shaft had to get the angle grinder out).
Then I stuck it on for a quick test and it wouldn’t take in water. Checked cold solenoid ohms OK but no power to it. Switched to spin and the pump operates but there’s no sign of any movement, even waiting for a while.
Thought maybe it might have something to do with interlock although door locks and lock light comes on. Tested volts between earth and live on lock and got some strange value which was well below 240. Also seemed to have 240 to lock neutral (thin black wire). So how come it locked? (Also noted it seemed to lock rather quickly – but maybe I didn’t give it time to cool?)
Anyway, it was late and the customer is off on holiday for a week tomorrow so I won’t see it again till a week Monday. So you’ve got plenty of time to tell me what I’m missing.
I did think about pressure switch stuck on but there was no blockage and I haven’t come across a p/sw with welded contacts more than once in five years.
    All ideas appreciated.
Failing that, can I have a wiring diagram please?
    Mike.

Spray pump out of circuit? Either pump out of circuit will prevent fill.

I’ll see if I can find you a circuit diagram.

Thanks for all the info Chris. I’m thinking I may have cooked the module when I did the megger check using my super new meter. But hopefully it might just be a wire pulled off the rear pump. Will post outcome in just over a week’s time.

Also had it where if re-gen pumps go’s can take out pcb, so worth checking before you start job. 😀

Well, went back here this morning, taking an EMW replacement with me and diagrams supplied by Chris.
Turned out to be a couple of connectors had got kicked loose on rear of module. Was inside the grey plastic bag so had not seen it during reassembly. Must remember to check around there next time.
    Thanks for the help, guys.
    Mike.
