ZANUSSI FJS1425W Hard to select programme

Hi gents
can anyone help have a zanussi FJS1425 customer complianed that it was hard to obtian a prgramme, but sometimes it works ok no error codes appears, when selecting a programme it fades out blank switches on & off machine comes to life after a few attemps and completes programme.
Then it may start a 50 min wash programme but take upto 1hr.30 min to complete it

Check the ribbon cable between the selector and main PCB’s, that causes odd errors like this at times 🙂

thank you for suggesting the ribbon cable will oder one and try it .
Will let you know if it works

I don’t think you’ll need a new cable to be honest, normally a good clean up of the connections does the trick 🙂
