ParticipantHi
Anyone got any ideas on this problem. The machine goes thru a full cycle ok but whatever setting it’s on the water never heats up.
I’ve run the diagnostic test & it comes up E41, however there doesn’t appear to be a door problem. Also when I switched the machine off then on after diagnostic test it displayed EE0 or EEO.
Ideas gratefully received, trying to avoid paying out unnecessary cost for a rip off merchant to tell me something needs replacing that doesn’t.
Many thanks

Participantwhy do people always end up by calling the people your asking for help rip off merchants?
do you not get paid for the job you do? do you overcharge? would it be fair for me to say that youre paid far too much for what you do without knowing your skillset and qualifications, or indeed moneys paid to gain said qualifications
please choose your words carefully
as for your fault
u blew that by leaving the door open when u went into diagnostics.. e41 will show cos it tried to lock the door when it was testing components
the ee0 is apparant because ur in diagnostic mode
switching the machine on then off again will cure thatas for the fault.. do 2 more washes abd then go into diagnostics again, only next time do it properly

ParticipantWell that put me in my place as a woman didn’t it! :-0
Obviously touched a nerve somewhere but I didn’t mean to offend anyone. There are people out there that aren’t genuine and will try to rip people off as I’ve experienced this, however I didn’t insinuate that was anyone on this board, hence why I’m posting on here as I assume you are professionals!!Â
Anyhow, thanks for your input, but I didn’t open or leave the door at any point during the test so not sure why I got that error but will try as you said again after 2 washes.Â

Hi: Hello 75, would have pulled you up on what you wrote whether you were a man or woman. We know there are Cowboys in this trade as there are in any other. Please do not Tar us all with the same brush, the engineers that provide advice on this forum freely give up their time to do so.

As I explained above I didn’t tar anyone, simply stated I didn’t want to get ripped off. If anyone found that offensive then I apologise, not everyone out there is trustworthy. 😯

Ok do you have a Multimeter & know how to use it? you will need to use 1 for any fault finding on your machine. Before we get into that can you run the 2 cycles as Helo 75 suggested & let us know what error code you get.

Yes we have a multimeter & my boyfriend knows how to use it, so will post back when the 2 cycles have been done. Am I right in assuming that they can be any full wash cycle?
Thanks for your post Specialist01269.March 9, 2011 at 10:14 pm #346703Specialist01269

No problem: Yes you should be able to run any 2 cycles & the error codes will re-set.
