last month the inner knob dial broke which was cheaply fixed, but now the pcb has gone (all black and burned on top). A new one on line is £160, is it worth repairing or would i better off spending an extra £100 on a new one (bosch or similar). would something else have caused the pcb to go as i wouldnt want to change it only for it to go again.
also now this has happened the door wont open, is there a way of opening it manually ?

When you say PCB, can I assume the board on the top of the timer. If so £160 is a bit extreme.

I have 2 in stock and can send you one for £134.95 all inclusive. However, reading your post I suspect it is due to failure of the door lock.

yes thats the one, I thought it was all one unit though , the timer and pcb.
or can they be separated ?
whats the normal cause of failure for them as well, could a new one fail if something else caused it ?

would strongly sugest an engineer be called because the board has blown for a reason, this needs to be investigated or it will blow the new board/timer…. and yes its all one unit.
