    …keeps blowing the RCD.
    The machine belongs to a friend who can’t really afford a lot to repair it as she’s a single mum.
    It appears the windings on the motor have failed, brushes are fine, but there is no label on the motor.
    Does anyone know the motor used on this model and the part no. as I may be able to source a second hand one to get the machine running again.

    Oldie – nothing listed in tech support anymore, sorry. IIRC, motor is a 1000 spin 8 tag motor – if you have the option of a s/h unit, remove your motor and take it with you for comparison. There should be 8 tags in a 10 tag connector socket, make sure it matches. Motors were supplied by AEG and ZEM/SOLE, they will interchange.
