    Customer complains that if she selects rinse hold and then selects the required program, on completion of the rinse cycle with the tub full of water (rinse hold) the heater is on cooking the clothes.

    have you checked that the hot and cold hoses are on the right way. seem obvious but how many times do the simple things catch you out?

    Stuck relay on board’s a good bet.

    Edit: Wrong, this one is switched straight off the Elbi timer, via the p/switches. Been a long day…….

    Thanks Wilf & Chris. Old installation being going for ages – Chris which board?? Timer or module?

    Get both from EMW and send back what you don’t use – could be either.
