Hi, Our Zanussi has developed a problem where the timer sticks i.e. the rotary control knob stays in one place and the machine just carries on indefinitely on that part of the cycle. We have to give the knob a slight turn to ‘help’ it onto the next stage of the cycle and then then everything works fine to the end of the cycle.
It does this every time we use it, which means we can no longer have it start early using the cheaper electric (economy 7) as we have to watch over it.
Anybody any ideas on this? Does it sound like the timer itself (expensive 🙁 ) or do you think it could be something else?

if you put on say prog C does it move on 1 click then stick if so poss heater fault
