Hi
just to clarify this..
does it fill up when the appliance is NOT being used ?
e.g. overnightor does it continue filling whist you have got the washing machine switched on and loaded ?

Hi bryan
When the machine is off no water fill, but whenever I set it to any of the programs, pull the dial out to (on) the machine starts to fill but doesnt stop filling ? but will stop filling if I push the on /off dial in to stop program.
hope this helps.

Hi
I would start by checking for blockage in pressure system. If there is gunge or whatever in manifold; which air hose to pressure switch/s is connected, then you will get this fault.
You may also have a faulty pressure switch/s, module or holed pressure hose.
Try the first and see how you get on 😉Greg
PS Remove hose from pressure switch and blow down it, you should feel no restriction, maybe a slight bubbling noise. Power off of course :plug:

Hi
checked and blown thru the 2 black tubes which seem clear no holes etc, checked both pressure switches large cream coloured switch when blown into clicks twice , the smaller one of the 2 when blown into clicks once, I guess these are ok, the only thing I am unsure of is the module? can you explain abit more with regards to module ???where its located ? its purpose etc ??any more help or info much appreciated, as still not rectified the problem.

Forget the Module, that’s nothing to do with your problem. Gegsy again is on the button with this one in that that fault is certainly due to a blocked manifold and/or pressure tubing probs 😉
The ‘manifold’ is the pump housing/filter unit that combines the air chamber and the tubes attached to it. In almost all instances that chamber gets gunged up and only cleaning it out (from the inside) will suffice!
Take the sump hose off the end of the manifold and clean it out from there. Its a messy job, requires a poke and prod and a water flush to clear. Once you are sure all the crud is cleared do then take a good hard look at that black air hose that connects to the Pressure switch? They often get chaffed by rubbing against the drum, and one tiny hole is often hard to spot!
😉
