Zanussi FLA | ZWF143A2DG | Display powers on, but cant initiate a selected program

The display powers on and all selection options respond. However, upon shutting the door and pressing the start button, nothing happens.

It is different though when pressing the start button without the door closed. Thus I dont think the issue is with the door lock.

Any ideas, please? Or info tech on this model. There appears to be a few modules, though I suspect the main control/power module located near the mains inlet.

Revisted today and diagnostics showed E66 – Heater relay.

Turns out the element is a dead short and down to Earth – weird thing is, i tested the element on my first visit.

Disconnecting the element and commencing a program locked the door – thanks.
