Is replacing the Detergent Draw Housing a major job on Zanussi FLA1201W washing machine.? Mine is cracked but looks fairly straightforward to replace, but I would be pleased to be forewarned of any snagged.

just to clarify, are you changing the drawer itself , or the housing, with all the pipes/etc attatched?

ones really easy – the other ones an absolute nightmare

No, no, no – you just have to break the machine in half. Helo and I would be in and out in under an hour. You might need a bit longer…… 😀

It is the housing that I need to change. I did not want to start and find it was connected to masses of other stuff.

(Bike engines I can rebuild. Washing machines IKBA about!)

well, trust me, it is mate…. and id give penguin a ring if he can do it in less than an hour

really is a pain its in such a tight space, you have to start pulling things apart just to get to it

wont a bit of silicon do?

I have tried pond repair tape and mastic. Worked okay for 4 washes so far.
