ParticipantHi,
Hope you can help me. I’ve just been to the above mentioned zanussi washer and i’m pretty sure its the module/pcb thats gone but would just like to confirm with somebody.
The symtoms are, that the lights on the front of the machine, programme – spin speed etc, all light up erratically and the machine beeps in sequence with them. Its not flashing them in any order at all, just random lights. If i try and put the machine into test mode it does nothing different.
After quite a bit of fiddling about trying test programmes, opening and shuttingthe door, i managed to get the machine started but after a minute it starter flashing again, carrying on with the programme but not being able to pause/cancel programme. The door stays locked.
Like i say, i think its the pcb but have never seen these symtoms before.
Also i’ve never had to fit one of these pcb before. I’ve been told that you have to configure them and because there no screen on this version, it is a bit harder. How hard is it? The lady wants it fixing at any cost. Thanks for your help guys

ParticipantAlmost definately the module / PCB. Configuring them is not too bad as long as you take your time. The configuration code is the long number with letters (16 digits) printed on the top of the old module. The machine has to be in test mode once you’ve fitted the new module. If you send me a P.M with your tel / fax No I can fax you a couple of pages of configuration notes on how to do it. Mark

If it does not have a display window you should find the board will come configured and will slot straight in. 😀

Just a quick question, does anybody know the part no for this. Ive just rung up and they need the serial number. Unfortunately the machine door is locked in and will not open. If i had another trip to the customers, 30 min round trip, i would be able to open it, but i dont think the customer can.
Do you need the serial for this model, is there more than one pcb, or will any do.
Thanks

It’s the PNC you need, which is inside the door.
It will be 914514537 but there are versions 00, 01 or 02 (if there’s nothing on the end it’s 00) and there are two different control PCB’s 🙁

If the water is drained and the power removed does the door still not open?
