Zanussi FLE1016W – 12901698

Hello, I have a zanussi FLE1016W serial no> 12901698.

I have been having a problem that when I put my wash on a usually a 40 degree it fills ok, takes the detergent but then for some reason stops, but this only happens sometimes. I have checked my pipe and that seems to not have a blockage. I have to turn the machine off and then skip to the next program but the clothes come out smelling washed but seem to have bits of detergent on them. Has anyone got any suggestions what this problem might be.

Most likely the brushes in the motor are worn out and on the point of failure…you might be able to hear them crackling (sparking) on the spin cycle if that’s the case. When they wear out the motor stops turning….

Easy and cheap repair, a new set of brushes and away you go 😉
