Initial complaint, cannot set programme, stuck on spin.

Diagnostics reveal E93…Configuration Error, incongruity 😕

Can this be cured simply by resetting the config code or is it likely to be a duff PCB. If so which one.

Hi Jim

Have you tried taking of all the edge connectors and tightening the little connectors – push them together with a tiny screwdriver and make sure the PCB pads are clean.

I have had some odd faults with these zanussis’s just down to bad connections. Its worth a try.

Will give it a go, was pushed for time this morning, you know what its like. you take a week off for the first time in over 3 years and when you get back the phone goes into meltdown.

Jim,
in order to see if you fascia board is OK (mainly) see if ULN2003 next to plug connector it isn’t full of dirty and with one multimeter check on capacitor (electrolitic one), closest to plug connector (supply 5Volts) it measure different on both polarity (on diode scale)…

Also ( after doing what Andy has told to do) check if main PCB is taking new configuration code… if not that’s it…
