helo, didnt mean to cause any jealousy with my £80 earner 😉 and no, £60 profit is not to to be sniffed at. What i was trying to say (while in the back garden tipsy on ice cold beer) was £80 is about the max i can get for any washer repair these days & with 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of bearing jobs needing a spider as well, it soon turns into a lot of work for little money. Its a real shame cos i always found it a satisfying job to do properly.
ANYWAY, this is a tech thread so im gonna go now! 😆

hotpnt, the TDS disc is available from most spares suppliers, in fact I think Dave Conway got me my last copy. last part number I has was 506006065-00/3
Its around a third of the price of Partfinder and 100 times better.

£60 profit for 2 hours work – you could do 4 a day thats £240 not bad for a days work. Cant see the problem people have with bearing jobs perhaps they dont like getting their hands dirty.I’m doing Zanussis from £90 to £120 , Wms £70 and Wmas £90 to £130.Blocked pumps, carbon and belt replacement jobs all day long would be great – but just doesnt happen. As cash repairs have dwindled over the past 10 years youve got to take profit where you can.Its a lot better than sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring/cleaning the van/tidying the toolbox.
