That one has the later 6 kg drum i think, last one i did a few weeks ago, had to take drum out through top, bit of a wriggle, took about an hour & half to complete. spider was fine to reuse as miracle of miracles, she had actually called me before the bearings collapsed.
I got bearings as kit , cant remember where 😳 (gettin old) shop@ have them for £20 odd if youre stuck 😉

You can buy a complete bearing kit – Masterparts one is AG05104, £15. You will also need a tub centre seal, p/no1240159-03/6.
If you haven’t done one before, allow yourself two hours. Once you’ve done a few it comes down to not much over an hour. I charge £90 up here in Yorkshire.
All FLE1216 machine have the split casing, so access is pretty simple.

Gotta make it where we can, Rob…. Public perception is that it’s a highly complex, technical, labour intensive job and that’s just fine by me!

ParticipantRe: Zanussi FLE1216
Entered part number for bearing seal – there is a sort of “equivalents” list at the top of the description – the kit number was in there.

Ah – TDS disc. Full Lux group tech data, very comprehensive, exceptionally good value at £20 odd. Sadly, the current edition is the last one ever, so get one quick!
Knocks spots off the Indesit rubbish.
