Zanussi FLS1186w advancing straight through wash

Hi Folks!
Wondered if anyone had come across this before, I have the said machine that when selecting any wash cycle it advances it self to just before the rinse cycle, heats to 40’c then carrys on as normal.
Any information greatly recieved!

Wow you post late…couldn’t you sleep? 😆

Here’s hoping you get a better nights sleep tonight knowing its probably just the inner Timer Knob that’s broken and therefore not in sync with the Timer shaft? 😉

We were just coming back from our new year party! Seemed like an ideal time of day to do a bit in the workshop, must of been the Stella influence! 😆
I think I have solved it now, it has a quick wash button that had shorted out, replaced that and all SEEMS ok now but a few load tests should define that. It seems to make sense.
