Hi there,
I have a Zanussi ZFK 62 23 RF Upright Fridge Freezer.
I have had problems with the freezer compartment in the past when one of the kids left the door ajar and a build up of ice stopped the fan in the freezer section.
However, recenlty the fridge section has not been cooling very well.
I can hear a fan kick in when the thermostat is pushed past 0.
Any suggestions?
It’s probably the compressor rather than the fan you can hear or ice has blocked the air ducts.
Switch it off and leave with doors open for 48 hours, that will remove any ice build up, if that doesn’t work, then the fan may have been damaged by the occasional ice build up.
Hi – I have now managed to de-frost the fridge for over 48 hours. But the top compartment is still not cooling at all. The freezer section is fine. Any suggestions?
