I have a Zanussi ZBB27450SA integrated fridge freezer, that is about 4 years old. The drain hole is constantly full and hence dripping into the base of the fridge area under the veg trays.
I have tried clearing it many times by poking it, sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesnt. Also tried blowing down it with a straw to try and clear it, but it always comes back.

The fridge works perfectly other than that.
Might a defrost help, possibly there is just too much water circulating on the inside of the fridge for it to cope? Any other ideas?
Am I able to suck the water out in any way?
How far into the hole can I poke something?
What is the other side of the hole – is it just a long tube? I dont want to damage anything by poking too hard or too far!

    If it helps:

i tend to use the plastic straps to poke down. there will be a plug of something down there. What ever it is unless its ice it will be soft but the pipe turns 90 degrees at some point and a straw wont go round the corner where if you curl the end of the strap it will. any blockage seldon gets more the 20mm down
