    Zanussi ZX97 frost free fridge freezer aged 6 years: the fridge has stopped working and the lights do not flash to say not up to temperature. I emptied the freezer to allow for any blockage to defrost however I am concerned that the lights do not flash, suggesting that this may not be the solution. Any ideas?

    Presume the freezer is still working.
    Can you hear the motor running.If you emptied the freezer and turned the appliance completely off , leave the freezer door open and switched off for at least 36 hours, this would allow any freezing blockage to disperse.
