Zanussi Fridge Freezer- Pierced by a knife!!!

Hi , I stupidly used a knfie to aid removal of very large amounts of ice.

Basically the knife slipped and pierced the skin resulting in gas escaping.

Can it be repaired or will I be using my flexible friend to purchase new.

This is my first time on this site so be gentle. We have all done stupid things!!!!! :rolls:

I’m afraid that it’s pretty much goosed. 🙁

Even if the evaporator can be changed it’s very likely to be prohibitively expensive to do it, a special order part so it will take time and there will be moisture in there now so it’s all too possibly choked to boot.
