    Hi,
Ive been here before, with my model Model #DF67/42FF………TR1217 roughly every two months this light comes on,my wife defrosts the freezer and it goes off again for two months…..
Without having to call someone in,can anyone not pinpoint this fault?

If you look at the rating plate again, where the model number is, and let me have the pnc number I’ll have a look and report back.

OK that was the correct product code. Bearing in mind that you have a problem in the freezer compartment – being a frost free unit you have a number of components that keep the ice away. These are the defrost heater, a defrost thermostat and a timer. Any of these could be duff and therefore unless you know what you are doing I would suggest you get a fridge engineer in. Or pain that it is, just keep defrosting – good luck

    Excellent….!
I have a tester and would like to attemp to test these three components myself.
Would you describe them for me and give me their rough location please?

I see where the defrost heater and the thermo is….the two top(round )looking things, the wires look kind of sealed going in there?
Could the problem also be the condenser coils just need cleaning?
