zanussi fridge not cold

Hi,

I have a Zanussi Fridge Freezer – Zanussi ZRB632W, the problem is that the fridge doesnt get cold at all anymore.

I did the obvious thing, unplugged it and left it to defrost for 48 hours but its still the same.

I read through the posting below, which suggests checking the ‘Baffle’. I’m not sure where to locate it and what to check for even if I do find it. I’d appreciate any advice

I’m guessing beyond defrosting and checking the baffle – its an engineer call out – nothing else I can try ?

What is strange is that I cant see any vents in the fridge from where the cold air from the freezer gets pushed into, how would it stay cool?

I began to dismantle the freezer, the problem I have is that the fan and the evaportaor/coil etc are mounted horizontally in the ceiling of the inside of the freezer, behind a plastic panel and I can’t see a way to remove it. Any ideas ?

I have attached pictures of the inside of the fridge (no vent holes anywhere) and inside of the freezer with the plastic panel in the ceiling of it which houses all the workings. .

My hope is that if I can remove the panel, I can see some kind of blockage, which the 48 hour defrost did not remove.
