    This machine visited today, on selection of program door lock appears to click twice and then stops. No other action. Filter checked, tacho on motor appears OK, insulation test OK. Door interlock has been changed. Suspect main circuit board behind timer knob!! Can anyone confirm this.

    Been to the very same machine and it was cold valve. Might be well worth a look.

    Hi Taff
    I had a FS1255 with same symptoms. Was the drain pump triac on the main board. Had to change the pump as well. The door locks then it is supposed to pump out before filling.

    Did you go into the diagnostic cycle & count the beeps/flashes?
