Hi all, been to a Zanussi fs1255w, fault is would not start, when you pressed start button door switch clunked about three times then nothing, changed door switch same thing, took out facia control module and found damaged tracks where connector from door lock was. sent module off to qer, fitted repaired module today and nothing at all not even clunking door lock, checked edge connectors but all ok, door lock light flashes 5 times apart from that nothing at all, wonder if the repair to the module was ok? customer willing to have new module, not sure I want to get stuck with it if it still not work, am i missing anything else?
    Thanks Allan

all it does is door lock light flashes 5 times then delay then 5 flashes and so on, cant get it to do anything else, i see there are two modules listed for this one says preconfigured ewm1000 but suitable for this model much dearer too?

End light flashing 5 times is showing a motor related fault. Enter the diagnostics for the actual fault code. Is this the same fs1255w that you have a post running about trying to configure a new module? 😕

Yes it is, original board had blown tracks where the door lock edge connector joins, similar to hotpoint wma series, sent board of to qer for repair but still no joy so assumed board repair was unsuccesful, machine will do nothing, door wont lock just the flashing end light, could motor fault have blown module instead of door lock? and would a fault with the motor cause it to do nothing now?
    Thanks Allan
