We have a Zanussi FS1255W (91471102) washer Interlock problem, or is it the PCB?? 🙁
The machine works fine until you hit the initialise (start) button, having selected the pgm etc. Then the door interlock solenoid fires three times, the “door-locked” neon fails to come on, and the machine aborts the pgm and the “end” light comes on.
We have ordered an interlock (we have not examined the PCB for signs of damage, as time was limited). The customer is rather unpleasant and impatient (“Why didn’t you bring a new door lock with you?…”) and we want to know if we will have egg on our faces when we arrive with the new interlock and it still don’t work……
All advice from Zanussi vets gratefully received!

I have had this before and it has on four occasions been tracks off the board on the pgm. Soldered them succesfully and changed the doorlock aswell incase it was the old door lock that caused it. Quite simple to do providing you can get access to the pcb.
