Zanussi FX1465W

Hi , never had much to do with these m/cs but hey ho, door interlock kept clicking, on inspection the lock had a slight burn mark in the centre of it so I ordered & fitted a new one! Fit new one select a prog ,same agian just click, click then a bleep & end prog neon flashing! Any clues please!

Unfortunately when these door interlocks go faulty they have a habit of blowing the electronics. Sometimes manage to re-solder damaged tracks other times EMW or QER for repair :(.

Oh for the good old days of replacing door interlocks or pumps or motors etc. and onto the next job.

Yes Bryan ,for the good old days,oh well at least he has a spare washer, only it’s an Indesit 😡 .

From memory QER will repair this board for £30 , so the situation might still be salvageable :). Might be worth a phone call at least.
