Zanussi FX1635W – Error Code E23

Hi, Zanussi washing machine wouldn’t drain so checked error codes and got E23 for drain pump triac. Inspected drain pump and found it burnt out so replaced with new pump (which would explain funny smell last few times used the machine). Still same problem – cycle works until first drain and then stops with error code E23. How do you fix this problem from here – is the machine scrap now or can the triac be easily identified and replaced? Thanks. Gary

Not too insurmountable with a little experience in electronics. Triacs usually blow their tops and adjacent tracks lift. Check it out!
