    Help. Zanussi machine loaded, switched on. It starts, water runs through soap compartment and keeps running. Does not move on to next part of cycle. Save me from my soggy laundry please??

    Model number would help, check drain hose has not fallen down, or that drain hose is pushed too far down waste pipe causing syphoning.

    I did check hose. It ok. Apologies for missing out model number. Its FLS 1185QW
    Playing with it a bit more, I have found that if I put it onto spin, its fine.
    But after selecting programme and starting, water fill soap compartment and just keeps going. All day. Wont stop unless I intervene. Even if I nudge the dial along the cycle a bit, its not responding. Is it RIP?
