Zanussi Grill Element

I ordered an element for this oven, model ZBF 860W Prod. 949710763 from Masterpart, part code LUX3570356018. The problem is, although the replacement element looks the same, the fixing plate is different in that although the plate is slightly shorter, the fixing screws are wider apart.
Ive double checked on thier website and it says this is the correct part for this model.
Has anyone come accross this problem who might be able to point me in the right direction?
