ParticipantCan anyone confirm what the guarantee period from new is on Zanussi washers. I only ask as one of my customers phoned this morning to say the drum bearings have gone, its only just over 13 months old.
As this is fitted with the sealed tub assembly its not going to be cheap.
I thought they had 2 years but she’s been told its one.March 26, 2010 at 3:35 pm #316426cab

Hi Cab, yep she phoned Zanussi and they have told her its one year.
The Tub assembly alone is £155 without labour, outrageous.March 26, 2010 at 5:46 pm #316428gandh1

I’ve written off 4 Zanussi washers in the last 4 months. I’ve replaced everyone of them with ISE AW23’s. At least you can do a bearing change on them at a fraction of the cost. I can’t believe LUX are making this crap. They as far as i’m concerned are the worst machines money can buy. The worst cabinets, strange faults, sealed tubs with crap seals and bearings. What next? I reckon soon the drain pump, motor and control board will be sealed in so if anything goes it will goodbye :o(

I worked for Zanussi and generally the customer service is pretty good, or at least they used to be about 10 year ago.
