    The rust problem is back in my sisters zanussi washer.

    We ran a descaler through it, and lots and lots of limescale came out. However the rust problem persists.

    Ive put this down to the heating element having gone rusty, could this be the problem?

    If so how much would a new element be for it? It’s a FLA1101W Aquacycle

    2001 model I believe.

    Can’t find the one to match this model in your shop.

    Heating element to fit this machine is 1240325-97/5 – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will get one for you promptly.

    It would be unusual if it has developed any significant rust – a read of the articles in THIS SECTION may prove fruitful.
