Zanussi IH6013F filter

Went to fit an oven element to a Hotpoint oven, customer asked me to look at this extractor, needs a new charcoal filter.
Masterpart shows it as a 5023436007 but the picture in their catalogue and on the web site shows a filter with a small screw hole in the centre. The filter unit on the one I saw this morning is about 2 inches thick, and has a centre hole more than two inches in diameter. Not sure if this can be prised open to fit a new layer or not but there is no way the one shown on Masterpart will fit unless the centre piece is removable.

Could not see a serial number or anything other than model number on the rating plate. TDS does not seem to recognise IH6013F.

The one on this looks more like the Ariston AR1402 filter shown in the Masterpart catalogue.

What an absolute pain it is trying to get the front grill back on, I couldn’t get the two lugs at the top to locate, perhaps it was just the thought of running late for my next call.

The original Zanussi part number was 2330409 but it’s not recognised by them anymore which means it’s obsolete normally 🙁

Try phoning them on 01325 302464 (or get the customer to ;))

Thanks Dave, somehow I don’t think she will bother. Her husband used to change them but has passed on 😥 . After she saw the struggle I had trying to get the front grill back on, and reading the handbook noticed that these filters should be changed every 4 months, I am certain she will not be to upset.
