Zanussi integrated ZWI7201WA – Leaking waste hose

Hello, the machine is fitted next to the sink and the drainage hose that comes out from the back of the machine has got a tear in it at some point inside the sink cupboard! I’ve looked at the spare parts shop and see a hose ref UN3771 but it says it is an extension hose so wondered if I find exactly where the leak is could the hose be cut there and the spare be added on or if the new hose is suitable should it be used to replace the leaky one entirely fitting it into the back of machine? Your advice will be very welcome, many thanks.

No you cannot cut the hose and fit an extension. You will need to replace the complete hose that connects inside the machine. In order to provide you with the correct number of the replacement hose we need the CORRECT model number of your machine and, better still, the full PNC number (production number). 😀

Thanks for the quick response Martin. I’ve been text the following number from the back of the machine: 914528123 is that what you need? The model is ZW I or 1 7201WA.

Very odd, I can’t find either that model number or PNC number on their web site. 🙁

OK re the PNC I’ll have to double check it when I get home tonight but I’ve missed typed the model number it’s ZWI71201WA, sorry!

OK, I’ve checked and UN3771 will be a fitting alternative to the original drain hose. The actual genuine part number of which is 1320721424. The UN3771 has a 90degree elbow fitting that goes directly onto the pump outlet. The hose then threaded through the cabinet at the back and onto whatever drain outlet pipe your installation has (possibly a sink connection?). 😀
