ParticipantThe door is locked and won’t open with the washing inside and it does’nt start up as it normally does, and it shows ‘err’ code comes up followed by 3 dashes with a few bleeps, what could it be ?
I have looked in the book but it says it requires reset but even pressing reset gives the same code .
I hope someone can help!TIA

If there is water in the machine then the water may prevent the door from opening. Is there any water in the machine?
If so drain the water by means of lowering the drain-hose to floor level, or, open the filter. (beware of the water if opening the filter).

I have taken door interlock out and it maybe getting stuck or as you say maybe getting volts problem from pcb.
can new pcb go straight in if it is that or does it need Manu. engineer to code it to appliance.July 7, 2012 at 5:26 pm #377800slyp98

nah no need for engineer to code it but if it has blown the tracks and components associated with the lock , its a new or recond board im afraid only one way to find out get the new lock in there
