ParticipantHi Guys,
I have a Zanussi IZ 16
Type P6749636
Prod No. 914513005|00I recently moved house and plumbed the machine in at the new house only to find that the machine would start a wash
cycle and after a minute or so of humming it stops and flashes the pause button.
I am a technical (computer support) person and my father is a Heating engineer so problem solving and dismantling is not
an issue.
We have been in to the Service procedure (start+skip button) the error code is E33
When I step through each of the different parts of the cycle, the drawer fills with water, the drum fills, the drum
spins up but the error occurs when it tries to go to the drain cycle, it makes the noise as if it is about to start
exiting water and then errors.
I have done a lot of research and have found the service manual for this machine and E33 states that it is a pressure
issue
http://www.scribd.com/doc/97807493/Washmachine-guide
Page 26I have had both the Pressure sensor (1320903105)
and the pressure switch (3792215208)
out, blowing gently into the pressure switch you can clearly here the diaphragm switch clicking on and off.Is there any way to check if I need to order the Pressure Sensor or the Pressure Switch ?
Thanks for your assistance

I should order both now because you’ve stuffed the analogue Pressure switch up simply by blowing up it anyway, a thing never to do! By the way, the correct part no’s are: –
1243905104 & 124304200
It’s important to realise that error codes are only a rough guide as to the actual fault. Many spurious electrical failings can give false error code readings. In the case of E33 the heater is a caution as is the wiring connections to and from the circuit board. A blockage in the sump and pipe work can also have the same effect! 😉

Thanks guys…
I will try the pressure sensor (we are having a reducer fitted as the pressure on the cold water into the house is crazy high)Martin, I understand blowing up the switch could damage, but we blew very gently and it was what the service manual from Electrolux said to do.
You can hear the switch click in and out happily?Mark
