Zanussi IZ 16 S with an E33 error code

Hi,

Could anybody guide me in the right direction with an error code of E33 on this machine after running a last error code diagnostic. I know how to run the diagnostics but i dont know many of the error codes.

ps. Does anybody know what E34 is as i’ve had this in the past but never made a note of it.

Both codes to do with pressure system problems – the electronic p/sw is disagreeing with the conventional one and this is causing a conflict on the digiboard. Clear the blockage or find the leak!

I’ll get back tommorrow if I can make a space and get it sorted.

The original fault that the lady had was that she would set it on a program, start it and leave it for a while and when she came back the programme has stopped at the original start time but left with water in. Obviously i’ve checked the pump emptying, it worked fine, but didnt try the pressure chamber/switches.

There is a service bulletin for the E33 code on the TDS offline cds, which mentions can be caused by earth leak on heater.

Have never worked on these myself. 🙂 Yet

Both codes to do with pressure system problems??
But have had this code for 1 of the heater wire fallen OFF .
Check this first it might save ya an Hour 😆

Just to update you on this call. I went back to the customers last week after reading all your advice and looked for the obvious pressure switch problems. BINGO, first thing i looked at – rubbed pressure pipe down the side of the cabinet.

Cheers for the help guys, its all about knowing the codes and this one i didnt know, but its now in my memory bank for next time.
