Zanussi IZ161 – Circulating pump

Hi Folks

Went to one of these the other day and changed to door gasket – noticed while I was there there was no water coming through the jetwash –

the problem was a blockage in the hose from the circ pump to the gasket but looks like Zanussi have moved the circ pump from the back of m/c (easy access) to the front onto the filter housing (which looks a pig to get at)

Anyone know if it’s possible to get the pump off without getting all the filter housing off or is this a major pain in the backside job now? – just for future reference

All the ones I have changed on Zanussi washers have been at the front.

All I do is lie them on there sides soap dispensor side on floor and remove the askoll pump not the housing and then just replace pump. Takes me about 10 minutes if that.
