Zanussi IZ16S

Hi set this machine on a program ,starts at 2h 08mins goes ok till 1h 55mins then starts to fill again then it stops with wash/rinse/spin lights on and start ,pause light flashing. also it goes back to 2h 08mins and does nothing. Checked pressure bowl and pipes etc. Any ideas? thanks.

Sounds like electronics are reacting to a low insulation fault somewhere. If W/D, most likely dryer element. If washer only could be htr or mtr. “Low” insulation can mean 40 (yes, forty!) Mohm or less. Disconnect component and re-try.

Just to let anyone know it was a pin hole in the pressure tube causing the fault hope that helps.

It had rubbed through on the white plastic casing!! It was a tiny hole hardy visible.

Ah, just as they do on Hoover Quattro and Hotpoint WM drums. Never seen it on Zanussi before though. Often catch it early before it goes right through on Hotpoint when replacing the brushes. Customers seldom realise what we do for them.
