Our Zanussi jetstream 1200 is not draining properly (error code E20). Have cleaned the filter which was clogged up but still draining extremely slowly and in the end have had to drain it manually. Is it likely that the pump is faulty/failed or something clogging it up elsewhere? Can the pump on these be dismantled to remove any debris?

The blockage could be before the drain in the hose feeding it. Its also worth checking the drain pipe end if connected to a spigot on the sink trap.Re: Zanussi jetstream 1200 not draining

It turned out that the blockage was between the drum and the filter, just before the filter, clogged up with usual gunge including bits of limescale. Slowly cleared it away with the filter removed, running some rinse cycles between times into a bucket. Now appears clear. Thanks for your pointer, Just glad I didn’t have to fiddle about taking things apart.
